The town of Kolašin is situated in northern Montenegro, on a plateau 954 m above sea level.

Nestled between two magnificent mountain massifs – Bjelasica and Sinjajevina. It is considered Montenegro’s most vibrant mountain town, as well as a popular summer and winter tourist destination.

Kolašin lies at the intersection of two opposing weather fronts: the warm and mild Mediterranean climate of the Adriatic coast, and the colder, harsher mountain climate of the hinterland. This unique blend of currents makes it an air spa and ensures abundant snowfall every winter season.

EASILY ACCESSIBLE

Kolašin is connected with other regions of Montenegro by two-lane motorways. It is situated on the main road connecting Montenegro’s coast and the capital, Podgorica, with the northern region of Montenegro and Serbia (E65 and E80).

Currently, Montenegro’s most significant investment project is a new motorway connecting Kolašin with Podgorica, which was completed in 2022, cutting the travel time between the two destinations to under 30 minutes.

Podgorica International Airport, facilitating regular flights to major European destinations, is only 80 km away and will be reachable by car via the newly-built motorway in just 30 minutes, by 2022.
